1. Agreement and Apple Standard EULA
These supplemental terms apply to your use of PixelBoard. Your license to the app is also governed by Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. If these terms conflict with the Standard EULA on a matter it covers, the Standard EULA controls. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
2. Service and Eligibility
PixelBoard is offered by XUWEI QIN, an independent developer in mainland China. PixelBoard is a creative tool for making, editing, displaying, saving, and exporting pixel art and LED-style visuals on supported iPhone and iPad devices. You must be legally permitted to use the app and, if you are below the age of legal majority where you live, use it with permission of a parent or guardian. No separate PixelBoard account is required.
3. Acceptable Use
Use PixelBoard lawfully and safely. Do not use it to infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights; create or distribute unlawful or abusive material; mislead others about ownership or endorsement; interfere with the app or services; bypass purchase or security controls; or reverse engineer except where applicable law expressly allows it.
4. Your Content
You retain ownership of content you create. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed for source material you import, edit, display, export, or share. PixelBoard processes your content only to perform actions you request, including local editing, export, sharing, and optional synchronization to your private iCloud Drive container. The app does not claim ownership of your work.
5. Local Storage and Free iCloud Sync
Projects are stored locally by default. Optional iCloud Project Sync is available without a Pro purchase and depends on your Apple Account, iCloud Drive, network, device storage, and Apple service availability. Keep independent copies of important work. Turning sync off does not automatically delete existing local or iCloud project files.
6. Purchases, Subscriptions, and Lifetime Access
Apple processes all in-app purchases. Before purchase, the app shows the product, localized price, billing period, any eligible introductory offer, and renewal terms supplied by Apple. Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through your App Store account at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Lifetime is a non-consumable purchase for the Pro features identified in the app; it is not a promise that every future product or external service will be included forever. Eligible purchases can be restored. Apple handles billing, tax, cancellation, and refund decisions under its rules.
7. PixelBoard Intellectual Property
PixelBoard, its software, interface, artwork, branding, documentation, and included assets are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for the license granted through the Standard EULA, no rights in PixelBoard are transferred to you. Rights in third-party or user-supplied content remain with their respective owners.
8. Availability, Updates, and Compatibility
Features may change to improve the app, maintain security, comply with law or platform policy, or support new operating systems and devices. Some functions depend on Apple services, hardware capabilities, permissions, storage, or network access. We aim to preserve valid purchase entitlements under App Store rules, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed.
9. Third-Party Services
App Store, StoreKit, iCloud, system sharing, and linked Apple account-management pages are provided by Apple and governed by Apple’s terms and policies. External content or destinations you choose to open or share to are governed by their providers.
10. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using and remove PixelBoard at any time. Access to app or support services may be limited when reasonably necessary to address unlawful use, security threats, material breach of these terms, or legal requirements. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, and limitations—continue to apply.
11. Disclaimers and Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, PixelBoard is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that every device, file, export, third-party service, or future operating-system version will work without interruption. To the extent permitted by law, liability for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-data damages is excluded. These limitations do not exclude liability or consumer remedies that cannot legally be limited.
12. Changes and Contact
We may update these terms to reflect product, legal, or policy changes and will publish the current version and effective date at https://pixelboard-legal.pages.dev/terms/.
