1. Scope and Data Practices
PixelBoard is offered by XUWEI QIN, an independent developer in mainland China. This policy explains how PixelBoard handles information in the iPhone and iPad app, on the PixelBoard legal and support website, and when you contact support. PixelBoard does not require a separate account and does not sell personal information or use it for cross-app tracking or targeted advertising.
2. On-Device Creative Data
Image processing is performed locally on your device. Imported images, drawings, text, stickers, editable projects, preferences, and regenerable cache files remain on your device unless you choose to export, share, or enable iCloud Project Sync. PixelBoard does not upload creative content to a developer-operated backend.
3. Optional iCloud Project Sync
iCloud Project Sync is an optional feature available without a Pro purchase. When enabled, PixelBoard stores complete editable project files—including source media, layers, animation frames, and editing parameters—in your private iCloud Drive container so they can stay synchronized across your Apple devices. Apple processes and stores this data under your Apple Account and iCloud terms. Turning sync off stops future synchronization but does not automatically delete existing local or iCloud files.
4. Purchases and Subscriptions
Apple processes App Store payments and provides verified product, purchase, subscription, and entitlement status to PixelBoard through StoreKit so the app can display localized offers, grant Pro access, and restore purchases. PixelBoard does not receive your Apple Account password, full payment-card details, or billing credentials.
5. Permissions and User Choices
PixelBoard requests photo-library access only when you choose media or save an export, and camera access only when you choose to take a photo. You can decline or revoke permissions in iOS Settings. You control whether to enable iCloud sync, what to import, export, share, or delete, and whether to send a support message.
6. Website and Support Communications
When you visit the legal or support website, hosting and network providers may process basic request data such as IP address, browser type, requested page, and time to deliver and secure the site. PixelBoard does not use this data for advertising or behavioral profiles. If you contact support, the message, return address, attachments, and diagnostic details you choose to provide are processed to answer and troubleshoot your request. Do not send passwords, one-time codes, or full payment details.
7. Service Providers and Disclosure
PixelBoard does not include third-party advertising, analytics, payment, or general behavioral-tracking SDKs. Apple provides App Store and optional iCloud services; website, network, and email providers deliver the public legal site and support communications. Information may also be disclosed when required by applicable law or to protect users, rights, and service security.
8. Retention, Deletion, and Regional Rights
Local projects and settings remain until you delete them or remove the app. Clearing cache removes only regenerable temporary export files and not project data. Apple retains iCloud and purchase records under its policies. Support messages and limited service records are retained only as reasonably needed to respond, maintain security, meet legal obligations, or resolve disputes, then deleted or de-identified where practical. PixelBoard has no separate app account to delete. Depending on your region, you may request access, correction, deletion, or other applicable privacy rights through support.
9. Security and Children
PixelBoard uses platform protections and limits data handling to the functions described here, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure. PixelBoard is a general creative tool and is not directed to children under the minimum age required by applicable law; it does not knowingly seek personal information from children. A parent or guardian may contact support about a concern.
10. Changes and Contact
Material changes will be reflected by updating this policy and its date. For privacy questions or applicable requests, use Help & Support in Settings or visit https://pixelboard-legal.pages.dev/support/.
